Join Our Ministry

To join in membership with the Christian Family Community Church means to connect in relationship. It includes your commitment to your spiritual growth by attending Worship Services and Bible Study, presenting your tithes and Offerings, and participating in Kingdom Building.

Your membership is your agreement to submit to your God and His Leaders by honoring and obeying your Pastors in the Lord. In so doing, we express our covenant with God by supporting His ministry operation on earth which is the local church.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24

Welcome to the Family!

You are not a visitor, you are just family we haven’t met yet.

Why We Worship

Why We Stand When We sing

“And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on High.” II Chronicles 20:19

“Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God, Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto His name, for it is pleasant.” Psalms 135:2-3

Why We Clap Our Hands

“O clap your hands, all ye people: shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalms 47:1

Why We Lift our Hands

“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.” Psalms 134:2 “Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.” Psalms 63:4 “I will therefore that men everywhere, lift up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” I Timothy 2:8

Why We Bow and Kneel

“O come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” Psalms 95:6

Why We Audibly Praise God

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Psalms 103:1

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalms 34:1 “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.” Psalms 100:1

“And these things, I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation and glory and honor and power, unto the Lord our God.” ” And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia; for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.” Revelation 19:1, 6

Why We Have This Type of Worship

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
John 4:23-24

“For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh.” Philippians 3:3

Why We Sing Choruses as Well as Hymns

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.”
Colossians 3:16

Why We Have Prophecy

“To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.” I Corinthians 12:10

“But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.” I Corinthians 14:3 “the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8

Why Musical Instruments Are Part of the Worship Service

“Praise ye the Lord, Praise God in his sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that Hath breath praise the Lord, Praise ye the Lord.” Psalms 150:1-6

Why the Whole Church Prays At Once For Specific Needs

“And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord thou art God, which has made heaven, and earth and the sea, and all that in them is.” Acts 4:24

Why We Anoint With Oil and Pray for The Sick

“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14-1
